FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Sparechair is a social enterprise cafe sitting under the umbrella of Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre (KNLC). KNLC is a not-for-profit learning centre established in 1984 with a hand full of programs largely facilitated by a dedicated group of local volunteers.

KNLC delivers more than 25 funded educational programs; 10 funded social support programs and activities for individuals with a disability; 3 active living age-specific programs; and more than a dozen health and wellbeing service programs. KNLC also includes a vibrant occasional care program. Sparechair directly supports these programs for our local community.

Come in, say hi, and taste our amazing coffee. You can also be involved in our Pay It Forward Program, which allows you to pay forward a coffee or a meal for somebody who might be down on their luck.
