HOSPITALITY EMPLOYMENT ENGAGEMENT TRAINING (HEET)

HEET is a hands-on work readiness training program for young people with diverse abilities. The program focuses on teaching key skills through classroom work, complimented with hands-on café experience. It is expected this program will provide our graduates with a seamless transition into employment or further study.

The program is delivered twice per week for a total of 9 hours, over a 5-week period. Students are supported by an experienced trainer who will provide feedback and advice throughout the journey. The training covers the following areas: barista training, kitchen-hand duties, basic food preparation, customer service, and point-of-sale skills. Resume writing and interview skills are also touched on. All skills will be learnt on the job with students given ongoing support.

* This is an ACFE funded program. Course fees apply.
